Have you Ever Needed to Move something big but…you don’t have a truck – Introducing Fetchit
Have you ever needed a big vehicle to move a big item you found on Kijiji, throw away an old appliance, or get something big home from Costco? Fetchit is a free mobile application created by Oakville natives Matthew Karabela and Mike Barcz, that connects users with pick-up trucks, cargo vans, and box trucks drivers who help you move large items conveniently and affordably!
While Fetchit is an Oakville-based company, it has over 200 drivers across the GTA, and already over 1400 happy customers. In order to make the process stress-free, all drivers undergo a criminal reference check and a driving background check before being granted access to the network. Prices for a pick-up truck start at $39, and the user can get an instant estimate by using the app prior to even posting the job. Prices are comparable and can be cheaper to most major rental companies, and you don’t need to worry about returning the vehicle or filling the gas tank up before returning it! People have used Fetchit to move things back and forth to Storage, get large items between houses, Kijiji purchases (driver can pick it up for you, no need to show up!), Ikea/Costco/Home Depot purchases, donate gently used items to charity, and garbage removal!
You can schedule a move in advance or get it on demand. Fetchit can provide someone within one hour!
